On June 16, 2025, H.E. Heri Akhmadi, the former Ambassador of Indonesia to Japan, Mrs. Nuning Akhmadi, Budi Djafar, secretary for political affairs from the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Japan and Dr. Jayadi Hanan, Associate Professor at the Indonesian International Islamic University, political scientist Dr. Yoes Kenawas from Yayasan Lentera Studi Indonesia, visited CSEAS. Director Fumiharu Mieno, Professor Masaaki Okamoto, Professor Osamu Kozan, Professor R. Michael Feener, Assistant Professor Chika Yamada, Assistant Professor Mariko Ogawa, and Program-specific Assistant Professor Youdiil Ophinni (Hakubi Center for Advanced Research) welcomed the delegation. A signing ceremony was held for an agreement on academic cooperation and exchange between the Center and the Yayasan Lentera. After the meeting, a special lunch seminar  was held with Dr. Jayadi Hanan and Dr. Yoes Kenawas as guest speakers.
