Job information The employed assistant professor will be responsibie to work under the CSEAS research mission and promote several joint research projects.
Qualification
requirements
CSEAS encourages applications from researchers who have an excellent research record in the field of natural sciences and are capable of promoting international collaborative research related to the utilization and preservation of the natural environment, natural disasters or development problems in Southeast Asia and related regions in collaboration with those working in the humanities and social sciences. Researchers motivated to pioneer new disciplinary approaches through research that contributes to co-existence among diverse local communities are preferred.
Starting date April 1, 2019, or later.
Employment status 5 years. The contract may be renewed for another 5 years period following evaluation,
Probation Period 6 months
Duty hour and Holiday Discretionary Labor System for Professional Work. (7 h 45 min/day, 38 h 45 min/week.)
Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National holidays, University Founding Day, Summer Holidays (August 13 to 15) and Year-end and New Year holidays (Dec. 29 to Jan. 3)
Salary To be determined in accordance with Kyoto University regulations.
Allowance To be determined in accordance with Kyoto University regulations.
Social insurance Japan Mutual Aid Association of Public-School Teachers, employee pension, Employment Insurance and Labor Insurance
