On February 3, 2026, Professor Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Mohd Yusof bin Haji Othman, Deputy Chairman of the Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (IKIM), as well as Associate Professor Dr. Zul Ilham bin Zulkiflee Lubes, Director of the Center for Science and Environmental Studies (KIAS), IKIM, Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Hakimi Mohd Shafiai, Chairman of the Kyoto Alumni Association Malaysia (MyKyoto), and Mr. Amir Firhan bin Rosli, Special Officer to the Deputy Chairman of IKIM, visited CSEAS. Professor Masaaki Okamoto, Deputy Director of CSEAS, Associate Professor Hiroyuki Yamamoto, Associate Professor Satoko S. Kimura, and Program-specific Researcher Maida Irawani welcomed the delegation. They engaged in a lively exchange of views on potential cooperation between the two institutions in education and research.
