The objective of the SEASIA Emerging Scholars Conversation Series (ESCS) is to inform, inspire and engage with the next generation of scholars in Southeast Asian studies by facilitating an online discussion between them and faculty from SEASIA member institutions. In doing so, the series aims to showcase the diverse academic and research interests of scholars in SEASIA institutions, particularly those that are emerging organically from within the Asian region.
