| Qualification requirements |
CSEAS encourages applications from researchers who have an excellent research record in the field of natural sciences and are capable of promoting international collaborative research related to the utilization and preservation of the natural environment, natural disasters or development problems in Southeast Asia and related regions in collaboration with those working in the humanities and social sciences. Researchers motivated to pioneer new disciplinary approaches through research that contributes to co-existence among diverse local communities are preferred. |

| Duty hour and Holiday | Discretionary Labor System for Professional Work. (7 h 45 min/day, 38 h 45 min/week.） Holidays: Saturday, Sunday, National holidays, University Founding Day, Summer Holidays (August 13 to 15) and Year-end and New Year holidays (Dec. 29 to Jan. 3) |
