On October 27, 2025, Dr. Eko Sudarto, President of the Indonesian Police Science College (STIK : Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kepolisian), visited our center together with Mr. Irfing Jaya, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Saut P. Sinaga, Director of the Graduate Program; Prof. Dr. Muradi; and Dr. Puspitasari, accompanied by 11 leadership candidates.
Their visit took place as part of a short course program conducted at CSEAS.

Prof. Masaaki Okamoto, Prof. Osamu Kozan, and Assistant Prof. Mariko Ogawa welcomed the group and engaged in a discussion on recent developments in public safety, security policy, and police administration. The meeting also included an active exchange of views on how academic institutions and police organizations can collaborate to develop practical and sustainable innovations that benefit society.

Following the visit, a three-day short course (October 27–29), featuring lectures by experts invited from various parts of Japan, was held. On the afternoon of October 27, the participants also visited the Kyoto Prefectural Police Headquarters to gain valuable insights into the Japanese police system.
