Study on Japanese images in Thailand such as Samurai, Madama Butterfly depicted in Thai Literature and Thai film in the era of King Rama 6 and King Rama 7. This study can contribute to the comprehensive study on the images of Japan in various countries and regions in the world.

Study on Thai Film in the first half of 20th Century at Thai Film Archive

Study on classic Thai movies at Thai Firm Archive, which are not familiar and not easy to access for the public in Japan..With commentary of detailed introduction and in depth analysis of each film, this study can be beneficial for general use inJapan as a basis of Thai film studies. as well as for for academic purposes.

Study on Popular Culture in Mainland Southeast Asia

Study of folktale‘12 sisters’, which transmitted in mainland Southeast Asia, including the analysis of various Thai versions of ‘12 sisters ‘depicted in movies, TV drama series and other media. This study can contribute to the comparative study of‘12 sisters’ among Cambodia, Laos and Thailand through the collaboration of local scholars in the fields of film and narratives.
