Prof. Wataru Yamazaki invited 15 young researchers from Can Tho University (Vietnam) and Kasetsart University (Thailand) and held a seminar on February 28, 2023. The seminar was part of the Sakura Science Exchange Program (International Youth Science Exchange Program, Japan Science and Technology Agency) and was co-sponsored by Osaka Metropolitan University (Prof. Shinji Yamasaki, Laboratory of Veterinary International Prevention of Epidemics, School of Veterinary Medicine). A lively exchange of opinions took place on transboundary animal infectious diseases prevalent in Southeast Asia.
