On Wednesday, October 30, Professor Trina Tallei from the Biology Department at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Biology Department at the Faculty of Medicine, and the Molecular Biology Laboratory of Sam Ratulangi University visited CSEAS for an official meeting. Professor Wataru Yamazaki and Program-specific Assistant Professor Youdiil Ophinni (Hakubi Center for Advanced Research, Kyoto University) warmly welcomed Prof. Tallei.
The hybrid meeting was also joined remotely by faculty members from Sam Ratulangi University, namely Professor Meis Nangoy and Dr. Janno Bernadus of the Molecular Biology Laboratory, as well as several postgraduate students and research staff. Together, they engaged in a productive academic discussion centered on collaborative projects in education and research, with a particular focus on the One Health approach for early diagnosis of infectious diseases.
Sam Ratulangi University is a state university in Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Founded in 1957, the University is named after Sam Ratulangi, the Minahasan national hero from North Sulawesi. The University comprises eleven faculties and one postgraduate program.
