Sofiani Sabarina Nursalmah is a coordinator for the Maritime Asia Heritage Survey in Indonesia. Maritime Asia Heritage Survey works to digitally document historical and archaeological sites across the coastal and island world of Southern Asia through field survey work in the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Vietnam. She graduated from the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) with a thesis designing a 3-star hotel in Bengkulu City oriented toward the preservation of local culture. Prior to joining the MAHS, she was an architectural designer for an architectural firm in Jakarta.
